Hi, I'm Armani.
Here's my story.

Armani Antonellis

From a motorcycle accident to natural therapies.

When I was 19 I was t-boned on a motorcycle. I spent one month in a wheelchair and three on crutches. During recovery, I turned to natural therapies and found them to be genuinely, surprisingly effective: even helping me to play sport within six months.

I started to study the human body and was fascinated by how complex we are. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Seattle, my journey brought me to remedial massage, and I've been practicing since 2021.

I spent most of my career in an integrative centre working with physios, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and nurses - treating motor vehicle accidents and complex presentations .

How I work

Six things I believe
about pain and recovery.

01
First, Do No Harm
Before any technique or intervention, I consider whether it could cause harm and choose the most conservative effective approach first. Every decision starts here.
02
Movement is Medicine
No amount of massage will hold if how you move caused the problem. Every client leaves with something to do between sessions.
03
Identify and Treat Causes
Pain in one place is almost always connected to something happening somewhere else. Treating symptoms in isolation is why people keep ending up back on the table.
04
Healer as Teacher
A session that ends with "come back when it flares up" has failed. Every client leaves knowing what to do next.
05
Treat the Whole Human
Stress, poor sleep, and dysregulation all show up as tension and pain. I factor this in with every client.
06
Wellness is a Daily Practice
Recovery doesn't happen on the table. It happens in the hours and days between session. I help clients build the habits that make it stick.
Specialisations

Armani sees clients widely,
but these are his niches.

While every presentation is different, certain conditions come up repeatedly in clinic and Armani has developed a particularly strong track record with these.
Hip pain
Including hip bursitis, hip flexor impingement, and referred pain from the lower back and glutes.
Shoulder pain
Rotator cuff issues, frozen shoulder, and chronic tension from desk work or overhead activity.
Back pain
Recurring lower and upper back pain, including presentations from MVAs and long-term postural loading.
Plantar fasciitis
Addressing the full kinetic chain, not just the heel, for lasting resolution rather than temporary relief.
Nerve dysfunction
Sciatica, pinched nerves, carpal tunnel, and nervous system dysregulation from stress or chronic conditions.
Tendonitis
Hamstring, achilles, elbow, and biceps tendonitis - with a combined soft tissue and movement approach.

Armani is changing my life. I get instant results from every treatment. I’ve suffered plantar fasciitis for years & after 1 treatment pain gone. Have a torn meniscus & with to much work it has flared up again. Treatment today & I can already feel the difference & the relief in the tightness around my knee has gone. Thank you.

I have been to so many massage places over the last few years. Armani gives a massage like I’ve never experienced before, from the minute he starts, you know it’s going to give the best results, he knows where all the hurty spots are and how to fix them. Not only that, but they are lasting. He is brilliant at his craft. Highly recommend.

OMG. Where do I start? Armani has turned my life around. When I went for my first visit I had been suffering chronic back pain, where I was medicating to sleep and it took everything I had, to get through the day. It is now 2 months since that first appointment and I am pretty much pain free, and sleeping a lot better.

Amazing service, I have had chronic hip pain that has never improved for many years. I have had 3 visits and the improvements have been remarkable. Pain is subsiding and big improvements in my range of motion. I am given exercises and stretching to do in between my visits.
Highly recommend!

Primal movement

The foundations your body is built around
Primal movement patterns – squat, hinge, push, pull, carry, rotate – are the movements the human body is built around. Most chronic pain and postural problems trace back to dysfunction in one or more of these. Restoring them is often the most direct path to lasting relief.

Particularly effective when there's no clear injury but something has felt "off" for a long time, or when pain keeps recurring without an obvious cause.

Skills

Motor control and movement quality
Skills training develops specific movement patterns and the motor control to perform them well. Whether that's returning to a sport, managing a daily activity, or simply learning to move in a way that doesn't hurt. Quality of movement matters as much as quantity.

Particularly effective when pain is linked to how you move rather than how much, or when previous injury has disrupted your movement patterns.

Strength

Building capacity that lasts
Strength training builds the muscular capacity to support your joints, stabilise your posture, and handle the demands of daily life or sport without breaking down. Most people are surprised to find that getting stronger is one of the most effective ways to reduce chronic pain.

Particularly effective when pain is linked to weakness, instability, or joints that aren't being adequately supported by the surrounding muscle.

Flexibility

Range of motion and tissue health
Flexibility work restores and improves range of motion in the muscles and connective tissue. Without it, the body compensates by loading the wrong structures and creating new pain elsewhere. Essential for moving freely and recovering properly.

Particularly effective when movement feels restricted, stiff, or when pain appears at the end range of common actions like bending or reaching.

Nervous system regulation

Calming the system down
When the nervous system is in a chronic stress state, physical symptoms follow: tension, fatigue, pain sensitivity, poor recovery. This approach focuses on downregulating the system rather than loading more pressure into already-reactive tissue.

People dealing with stress, anxiety, burnout, chronic fatigue, or conditions where tension keeps returning no matter how much bodywork they get.

Kinesiology taping

Between-session support
Elastic tape applied to the skin to support joints and soft tissue without restricting movement. It stays on for several days, providing feedback to the nervous system and reducing load on an area between sessions.

Most useful when an area needs ongoing support during daily activity or sport while it's recovering.

Tendonitis

Postural work

Neuromuscular retraining
Looks at the patterns driving your posture, not just the muscles that are tight, but the movement habits and compensations your body has developed over time. Works on the neuromuscular system to rebuild how you carry yourself.

People with desk-related neck and shoulder issues, whiplash history, or patterns that keep coming back despite regular treatment.

Sports massage

Movement and load-related injury
Addresses soft tissue damage from repetitive movement or physical load. Works across the full range of a joint, targeting the tendons, ligaments, and muscles involved in the injury pattern. Can be used during training blocks, not just post-injury.

Active people, tradies, anyone doing physical work or sport with an ongoing niggle.

Plantar fasciitis
Frozen shoulder
Pinched nerves

Trigger point therapy

Referred pain patterns
Trigger points are tight spots in muscle tissue that send pain to a different part of the body. A point in your shoulder might be causing your headache. The technique involves sustained pressure on the trigger point until it releases.

Particularly effective when the location of your pain doesn't match where you'd expect the source to be.

Remedial massage

Deep tissue work
Slow, sustained pressure applied through the deeper layers of muscle and fascia. The pace matters. Working too fast doesn't allow the tissue to respond. Sessions focus on the specific areas driving your symptoms, not a full-body sweep.

Best suited to people with chronic or recurring pain, postural issues built up over time, or conditions like sciatica and carpal tunnel.
